Finder Certificate Tracker
A tracker certificate can have a share or an index as its underlying. The tracker tracks the price performance of the underlying 1:1. A tracker on an index is basically nothing more than an index certificate. The advantage of tracker certificates is that investors can participate in the performance of underlying assets in which they would not normally be able to invest. For example, there are tracker certificates on electricity or other energy that have an electricity price index as their underlying.
As a rule, the holder of the tracker certificate is not entitled to dividends. However, there are special forms of tracker certificates in which the expected dividend of the underlying asset is discounted and taken into account in the current certificate price.
The "Finder Certificate Tracker" is a table optimized for searching for these certificates, which you can use to configure individual search queries via the filter settings. In open security finders, the "Finder Certificates Tracker" is stored on the "Finder Certificates" worksheet.
In addition to the columns described in the section Finder certificates , the "Finder Certificate Tracker" contains the following columns:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Subscription ratio | The subscription ratio of the tracker certificate. With a classic tracker certificate, the investor effectively has the same risks as with a direct investment in the underlying asset. The subscription ratio is important for index tracker certificates. For example, if the underlying asset is quoted at 1000 and the tracker certificate has a subscription ratio of 0.1, the certificate would cost € 100. However, the percentage performance of the underlying and the tracker certificate is identical. |
Endless certificate? | The column returns "Yes" if the term of the tracker certificate is not limited and "No" for all others. |
Base paper | The underlying of the tracker certificate. This column is hidden by default. You can find out how to show and hide columns in tables in the section Show and hide columns. |
You can use the parameters to select a different evaluation date.
