Table with GD and trend
The table with GD and trend provides a tabular representation of the current trend and the relative strength compared to an index for the securities in a folder or filter.
You can find the table with GD and Trend in open workspaces (e.g. folders or filters) on the "Securities" worksheet.
Take the following information from the individual columns of the evaluation:
Columns | Description |
---|---|
Name | Designation of the security. |
WKN | Security identification number of the security. |
Close | Close (closing price) of the security. |
Distance | Percentage distance of the current close from the moving average. The default setting for the GD is 30 days. You can change this setting via the evaluation parameters. Read the following subsection 44598278. |
Trend [30] | This column provides the slope of the regression line on the close for the set period. The default setting for the period is 30 days. You can change this setting via the evaluation parameters. Read the following subsection 44598278. The MM-Talk function RegressionSlope can be found in the section General time series functions in your MM-Talk reference. |
Relative strength | Relative strength of the security compared to an index. Relative strength shows the relative performance of a share to a benchmark (index). The relative strength of the comparison value is 1. If the share has an RS > 1, it has a higher relative performance, analogously for RS < 1 a lower performance. For values close to 1, the share and the index have an identical relative performance. For details, read the chapter Relative strength. By default, the DAX is set as the benchmark index. You can change this setting using the parameters. Read the following subsection 44598278. |

Parameters of the table with GD and trend
The table with GD and trend has the following parameters:
Parameters | Description |
---|---|
Evaluation date | Evaluation date of the evaluation, which you can enter in the form "dd.mm.yy". The default setting is the current date or the evaluation date entered in the input field on the "Start" tab. |
Period (days) | Period (in days) over which the moving average and the trend are calculated. You can change the time period using the arrow buttons. Or select the period with the mouse and enter a different number of days. The default setting is 30 days. |
Settlement paper | The relative strength of the securities is determined for the value set here. The icon with the magnifying glass takes you to the Object searchto search for the desired index. For details, read the chapter Relative strength. The default setting is the DAX 30. |
