Configure logging

Use the CONFIGURE LOGGING command in the main menu to open the "Log configuration" dialog box, in which the logging settings of the server can be influenced at runtime. This allows more data to be collected for analysis purposes, for example. With the exception of performance data, the data is logged in the usual log files.

An adjustment of the settings is implemented promptly (max. 1 minute) and without a restart on all server instances.

Activating the various logging settings may have a negative impact on the performance of the server. Furthermore, the amount of data in the log files will increase significantly.

In the "Settings" dialog box in the Infront Portfolio Manager, you also have the option of temporarily switching to more detailed logging (for the duration of the working session).
