Register server instance

First, the computer must be registered as an instance. Proceed as follows:

1. Select the command INSTANCES, REGISTER SERVER INSTANCE in the main menu of the server configuration tool.
2. Enter the desired computer name in the following dialog box "Enter computer name". The current computer name is displayed. Check the information and correct it if necessary.
   

   

3. Close the dialog box with "OK".

The computer must be uniquely identifiable with this host name. The standard workstations will establish a connection to this computer under this host name.
