Configure timeouts

You can configure the various timeouts in the "Timeout configuration" dialog box.

You can use the "Session timeout" input field to specify after how many minutes without user activity a session is ended.

You can use the "Request timeout" to specify after how many seconds a call (remote procedure call) is considered to have been exceeded. To change the default value, activate the "Configure request timeout" checkbox and enter the value in the corresponding field.

You can use the "Async short runner timeout" to specify after how many seconds an async short runner is considered to have been exceeded and is paused. When creating a template evaluation, for example, the short runner defines the time that this process may take until completion. If this time is exceeded, the process is classified as a long runner and paused. If sufficient resources are available at a later date, the long runner is executed. To change the default value, activate the "Configure async short run timeout" checkbox and enter the value in the corresponding field.

A configuration of "Request timeout" and "Async short run timeout" is only useful in exceptional cases and should generally be avoided.

To reset the settings for the timeouts to the default values of the delivery status, click on the "Reset settings" button.
