Loss threshold reporting

Portfolio Service Scheduled Reporting" module

If you have assigned loss thresholds to portfolios via a portfolio version in the Portfolio properties or via a portfolio profile and monitor these, then organize the execution of reporting with regard to these loss thresholds using the "Loss threshold reporting" function. Proceed as follows:

  1. On the "Reporting" tab in the ribbon, select the command EXECUTE LOSS THRESHOLD REPORTING in the menu of the "Loss threshold reporting" icon.

The "Perform loss threshold reporting" dialog box appears in which you can make your settings.
  2. Drag the desired customers (represented by depot objects) into the "Explorer objects" field. To do this, use drag & drop of holders, securities accounts, portfolios, folders, groups or securities account filters from the Explorer or search for the input objects using the "Add object to list" icon.
To remove objects from the list again, mark the entries and select the "Remove selected object from list" icon.
To clear the entire list, select the "Remove all objects from list" icon.
  3. Then use the "Select template..." button to select the "Monitoring loss thresholds" template for loss threshold reporting.

Use the "Loss threshold monitoring folder" here, as this checks the following requirements before execution: Has the holder been assigned a loss threshold and has this been breached?

The Loss Threshold Notification report is only generated for a portfolio if the assigned loss threshold is breached.

  4. Select the reporting language for the loss threshold reporting in the "Language" selection list. The priorities explained in the section Selecting languages for reporting apply. For example, the reporting languages of the individual reports configured in a report folder are also taken into account in loss threshold reporting.

  5. If you use the document archive, activate the "Store in document archive" checkbox to archive the generated files there. This setting can also be selected together with the output in files.
  6. Activate the "Output to files" checkbox to save the generated reports on the disk as files. This setting can also be selected together with filing in the document archive.
  7. If you have activated the "Output to files" setting, specify the file names and directories of the files to be exported in the "Output of generated files" and "Log of generated files" fields. If necessary, read the sections Output of the generated files and Log of the generated files in the chapter Batch export.
  8. Start the loss threshold reporting with the "Execute" button.

After exporting the files, a message window will inform you. The generated reports can be found in the directory selected under "Output of generated files".

Read in the section Saving reports in ZIP archiveshow you can summarize your reports in ZIP archives and provide them with a password.

To work with the document archive, read the section Archive documents.
