Save

You can change an active template and save the changes. You can either overwrite the current template with the new settings (SAVE command) or save the modified template under a different name (SAVE AS command).

The SAVE command

In the case of templates, this command overwrites the template. You can also save filter properties, settings in editors, etc.

The following options are available to you:

  • Select the FILE, SAVE command.
  • Select the "Save" icon in the quick access toolbar.
  • Select the key combination <CTRL>+<S>.
  • Select the SAVE command on the "Start" tab.

The exact procedure for saving under a new name or restoring the original templates can be found in the chapter Save templates.

The command SAVE AS..

This command does not overwrite the template, but saves it as a new template under a new name.

The following options are available to you:

  • Select the FILE, SAVE AS command.
  • Select the "Save as" icon in the quick access toolbar.
  • Select the SAVE AS command on the "Start" tab.
