Requirements for updates

  • Carry out a backup of the database (see chapter Backup).
  • Close all running programs of the workplace installations (Infront Portfolio Manager, etc.). Make sure that no data update is running or is started during the update process. Shut down the Portfolio Manager server to ensure that the database is no longer being accessed.
  • Only install under a Windows account with administrator authorization.
  • Please note that it may be necessary to restart the computer after installing the update.
