Service packs

Version 6 is updated to a more recent version as part of service packs. The service pack is downloaded and installed using a software update wizard, which can be started using the <Update software> command in the Windows Start menu. Please note that the server must be updated first and then all workstations. Outdated Infront Portfolio Managers are no longer functional after updating the database.

Procedure for updating the overall system:

1. Update the server
2. Update the database
3. Update of all workstations

Optionally, when using a and/or Infront Advisory Solution, the update of these components takes place as the fourth or fifth step.
