Evaluation date for all templates of a workspace

On the "Start" tab, there is an input field in the ribbon for entering a global evaluation date for all templates of a workspace.

Enter the desired date here - e.g. in the form "dd.mm.yy" - or select it from the expandable calendar with a mouse click. The default setting is the current date. If the date is changed, this has no immediate effect. The evaluation date is not yet changed, not even when a new worksheet is opened in the same workspace.

To activate the changed evaluation date, proceed as follows:

• For the currently open workspace: Select the "Re-evaluate" icon on the "Start" tab.
• If you open the next object or the next workspace, this evaluation date is used for the workspace.

All worksheets in a workspace refer to the same evaluation date. If you change the date for a workspace, all evaluations will be recalculated.

In the MM-Talk formula language, this date is explicitly made available via the EvaluationDate or Today functions and is used as the default value for the evaluation date in all functions that have a corresponding "Evaluation date" parameter.
