Information on the "Weight distribution" field type

If the user-defined field is of the "Weight distribution" field type, you will find a note to the left of the input button indicating whether the weights are already set or not (<assigned> or <unassigned>).

This field type is particularly useful when splitting funds into asset classes, for example.

The entry of individual negative values is also permitted. Please note, however, that the sum of all values must be positive.

Proceed as follows to set the weights for the individual values of the user-defined field:

1. 

   Click on the Enter button to open the "Edit weight distribution" dialog box.
   

   

2. Enter the weights for the individual rows in the "Weight" column using the keyboard (numbers). You will then see the corresponding percentage value in the "Weight %" column.

3. Confirm the weight distribution with "OK".

If you point to the <occupied> term with the mouse, the currently set weight distribution is displayed in a message window.
