Read data into the database

The retrieved files are usually read in automatically after the data retrieval. If it becomes necessary to manually import files from the download directory, the following steps are required:

1. In the Infront Portfolio Manager, select the IMPORT FILE command in the menu of the "Data update" icon on the "Data maintenance" tab.
2. Select the desired files of type *.dp in the "Import files" dialog box and confirm with "Open".

You should not exit Infront Portfolio Manager before the import has been completed. As soon as the import is complete, a corresponding message window will appear on your monitor. If the import is terminated prematurely, you can restart the command at the appropriate time from the "Data supply" dialog box or directly from the Infront Portfolio Manager.

The IMPORT FILE command is only available in the icon menu after theDATABASECOMPLETION. If you have not yet carried out the absolutely necessary database completion via the history DVDs after installation, you should do this first.
