DATABASE UPDATE

Select this command to update the database currently in use.

REMOVE SECURITIES FROM LOCAL DATA STORAGE...

Select this command to remove (unneeded) security types from the database, thereby reducing its size and speeding up data import.

The configuration of the data retrieval is adjusted, corresponding securities are not created during the data update. The price data of the deleted securities is not removed from the price system. The course system should therefore subsequently be reorganized.

Required securities can be looked up at any time using the online search integrated into the object search and imported individually.

For details, read the section Remove securities from local data storage.

SET UP CHANGE TRACKING..

Use this command to set up your change tracking (change log). In the login dialog that appears, log in as a user who has the "Configure change log" system right. If change tracking has already been set up, a corresponding message window will inform you of this.

Please note that change tracking requires additional storage space within the relational database.

If necessary, read the sections Change tracking and Change tracking in the user administration.

CHANGE DATABASE ACCESS DATA

Select this command to change the access data for the database. To do this, enter the user name, the old and the new password in the input fields and confirm the details with the "Change" button.

These access data are only changed here in the configuration of the Infront Portfolio Manager, not in the database server.

LIST REGISTERED USERS

Select this command to obtain a list of all users currently logged on to the database via Infront programs.
