Credit interest

To enter credit interest, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the "Enter transactions" worksheet as described above in the section Enter transactions and select the desired holder if necessary.
  2. Open the ACCOUNT menu in the "Enter transactions" worksheet.
  3. Select the transaction type CREDIT INTEREST at Account transaction types .
    Use the keyboard to enter credit interest when the "Enter transactions" worksheet is open as follows: Press the key combination <CTRL>+<2> for the account transaction types. Then press the button<H>.
    The "Credit interest" dialog box appears.
  4. Complete or change the information in the fields if necessary. The details of these fields can be found in the following table.

    The fields in detail:

    Element

    Description

    Holder

    If necessary, select a (different) holder here.

    Booking type

    If necessary, select a (different) transaction type here.

    Account

    If necessary, select a (different) account of the holder here.

    Date

    Enter the date of the credit interest here. The default setting is the current date. You can change the date, e.g. to make subsequent bookings.

    Value date

    If the actual value date differs from the pre-faded date, overwrite it manually.

    You can define the preallocation via the general depot settings. The default setting is 2 working days after the closing date for Germany and 3 working days after the closing date for Switzerland. If necessary, read the section Securities account settings - Transaction entry.

    Amount

    In this field you enter the amount of credit interest in the currency set below.

    Icon "Logic reversal".

    Select this icon to enter "negative credit interest". If necessary, please also read the section Logic reversal for account transaction types.

    Currency

    In this field you can enter the currency in which the transaction was made.

    Dev. course

    If necessary, change the exchange rate that the Infront Portfolio Manager automatically sets here.

    Ausm. Amount

    Your Infront Portfolio Manager calculates the amount from your amount and currency details and displays it here.

    Remark

    Enter comments on the interest here.

    Transaction number

    If the transaction is made via , you will see the transaction number here, which is used to identify the transactions.

  5. Select the "Next" button to go to the next page of the dialog box.
  6. Complete or change the information in the fields if necessary.

    The tax information largely corresponds to that described in the section Income from securities . Details of the assessment basis can be found in the following table.

    Assessment basis

    The tax-relevant amount before loss offsetting and before tax deduction as a reference value for the tax information.

    Default value: Amount of the booking converted into account currency or euros.

  7. Finally, confirm the entries with the "Enter" button.
