Securities account settings - Transaction entry
In the "Transaction entry" area, you define your individual default settings for the "Closing date" and "Value date" input fields for the various dialog boxes for entering transactions. Depending on your personal workflow - e.g. recording transactions usually always one day after placing the orders, etc. - you can show the data in advance.
For the closing day, for example, "-1" corresponds to the previous day and "0" to the current day. The entries for the value date then refer to the value entered under "Closing date".
Element | Description |
---|---|
Final day | Define here which date should be displayed for the closing date when entering transactions. The default setting is "-1". Beispiel If you use this setting to enter a transaction on the 15th of a month, for example, the 14th of the same month is shown as the closing date. |
Value date (Germany) | Define the date to be shown for the "Value date" input field for Germany depending on the previously defined closing date. The default setting is 2 days after the closing date. In the example above, this is the 16th of the month. |
Value date (Switzerland) | Define the date to be shown for the "Value date" input field for Switzerland depending on the previously defined closing date. The default setting is 3 days after the closing date. In the example above, this is the 17th of the month. |
Use billing currency from the WM master data as transaction currency | Here you can change the default transaction currency when entering transactions. If you activate the checkbox, the settlement currency from the WM master data of the security is selected as the default currency instead of the default currency from the settings when orders are entered. This default setting also applies to the entry of collective transactions. |
