Delivery

The posting is the counterpart to an outbound delivery. Upon deposit, only the fee charged by the custodian bank for the transaction will be debited as an offsetting entry to the account.

Proceed as follows to enter a posting:

  1. Open the "Enter transactions" worksheet as described above in the section Enter transactions and select the desired holder if necessary.
  2. Open the DEPOT menu in the "Enter transactions" worksheet.
  3. Select the transaction type DELIVERY at Depot transaction types .

Use the keyboard to enter a deposit with the "Enter transactions" worksheet open as follows: Press the key combination <CTRL>+<1> for the securities account transaction types. Then press the <E> button.

The "Deposit" dialog box appears. The fields on the first page of the "Deposit" dialog box are largely the same as those for purchasing. In addition to the elements described in the section Purchase , the second page of the dialog window also contains the following elements:

Courses" tab

Valuation rate

The valuation price indicates the value at which the shares flow into the new securities account.

Exchange rate

If necessary, change the displayed exchange rate here.

Exogenous

Set here whether the items are to be viewed exogenously (i.e. from outside) or non-exogenously (e.g. as part of corporate actions).

If the checkbox is deactivated, the deposit is not displayed in the deposit/delivery section of the performance report and does not count towards equity. Without correction, this automatically results in an inconsistent performance report. It is therefore essential that you subsequently carry out a cost value adjustment (or an equally non-exogenous delivery as an offsetting transaction).

You can select non-exogenous deliveries as offsetting values when entering cost value corrections.

Tranches..

If the "Exogenous" checkbox is activated, the "Tranches..." button is visible.

To enter the tranches, read the section Enter tranches.

Historical values" tab

Historic debut

Activate this checkbox so that the resulting profits and losses from this deposit can be taken into account in the tax calculation. You can now enter the following data in this area (also as several tranches):

(Historical) date

Enter the historical date of posting here.

(Historical) share price

Enter the historical price of the deposit here.

(Historical)
Dev. rate

In order to correctly take the historical exchange rate into account when depositing foreign currency securities, a historical exchange rate must be specified. You can specify this here when posting.

(Historical)
Interim profit

In the case of fund deliveries, it is possible to specify a historical interim profit here.

Price-value" area

Market value in account currency

Shows the theoretical total value including fees of the transaction in the currency of the account for information purposes.

Market value in trading currency

Shows the theoretical total value including fees of the transaction in the currency of the security for information purposes.

For bonds and funds, all tax-relevant fields are also required for deliveries due to interim profit or accrued interest. The "assessment basis" in this case is the interim profit or accrued interest converted into tax currency. You can access the input fields by clicking on the "Taxes" mini-tab.

The tax information is largely the same as when recording income from securities. You can access the data by clicking on the "Taxes" mini-tab on the second page of the "Deposit" dialog window.
If a deposit is made in a securities account belonging to the same holder, this is referred to as Deposit transfer .

You can find out how to access the dialog box for entering individual orders in the section Enter transactions. The transaction type "Deposit" belongs to the Depot transaction types.

If you have licensed the "Cost service" module and have an Internet connection to the service, you can also download the associated costs directly from the cost service. If necessary, please also read the section Transactions and cost service.
