The "Edit translation memories" dialog box

You can edit your translation memories (TMs) in this editor, which you open as described above using the EDIT TRANSLATION MEMORIES command in the menu of the "Template" icon on the "Configuration" tab.

First of all, you can create, open or import a translation memory via the main menu of the dialog box in the FILE menu.

You can then create and edit individual translation units manually or add reports and other objects to quickly add the desired translation units.

At the very front you will see the "Context" column to clearly identify a translation unit. The following columns in the table in the center of the dialog box contain the languages. The rows represent individual translation units, the table cells their individual segments. A language is the original language that originates directly from an added report, for example.

Click in the segments of the target language(s) to enter or edit translations manually. You can edit the entries via the context and main menu as well as via the numerous control elements in the dialog window.

Use the key combination <RETURN>+<CTRL> to add a new line of text within a segment (line break).
