In addition to creating new portfolio profiles as described above, you can also use the "Copy selected profile" function. Use this functionality to quickly create new portfolio profiles with populated fields based on an existing profile.
Proceed as follows:
On the "Data maintenance" tab, select the PORTFOLIO PROFILE command in the "Manage objects" icon menu. The "Manage portfolio profiles" dialog box opens. On the left-hand side you will see the portfolio profiles that have already been created, in the middle the properties of the currently selected portfolio profile and the assigned profile keys and on the right-hand side the list of profile keys that are assigned to at least one portfolio version but not yet to a portfolio profile.
Select the "Copy selected profile" icon. A new entry called "New profile" appears in the list of portfolio profiles. The fields are already pre-assigned with the values of the initial profile.
Enter a name for the portfolio profile in the "Profile name" input field.
Now adjust the properties of the portfolio profile. If necessary, read the section Portfolio propertiesfor the individual fields.
You can access the user-defined fields for the portfolio profile via the "User-defined fields..." button. All fields that are also available for portfolio versions are available here.
Then select the "Save" button. The "Manage portfolio profiles" dialog box remains open to create additional portfolio profiles.
End the configuration with the "Close" button.
The profile keys are not copied as they are only assigned to the original portfolio profile.
