Create portfolio profiles

Module "Portfolio Service Extended Portfolio Analysis"

You can define as many portfolio profiles as you like, which you can then assign to your portfolio versions. Proceed as follows to create a new, empty portfolio profile:

  1. On the "Data maintenance" tab, select the PORTFOLIO PROFILE command in the "Manage objects" icon menu.
The "Manage portfolio profiles" dialog box opens.

On the left-hand side you will see the portfolio profiles that have already been created, in the middle the properties of the currently selected portfolio profile and the assigned profile keys and on the right-hand side the list of profile keys that are assigned to at least one portfolio version but not yet to a portfolio profile.
  2. Select the "Create new profile" icon. A new entry called "New profile" appears in the list of portfolio profiles.
  3. Enter a name for the portfolio profile in the "Profile name" input field.
  4. Now create the properties of the portfolio profile. The fields in the middle of the dialog window correspond to those in the familiar "Portfolio properties" dialog window. If necessary, read the section Portfolio propertiesfor the individual fields.
  5. You can access the user-defined fields for the portfolio profile via the "User-defined fields..." button. All fields that are also available for portfolio versions are available here. If necessary, read the section User-defined fields.
  6. Then assign one or more profile keys to the new portfolio profile below. You can create a new profile key here using the "Assign new key" icon or select unassigned profile keys on the right-hand side and assign them using the arrow icon.
  7. Then select the "Save" button. The "Manage portfolio profiles" dialog box remains open to create additional portfolio profiles.
  8. End the configuration with the "Close" button.

Use the"Copy selected profile" function described in the following section to create a new portfolio profile with pre-assigned input fields.
