EDIT menu in the formula editor
The following functions are available in the main menu of the formula editor in the EDIT menu item:

Cut out | <STRG>+<X> Cut out selected text parts of the formulas. | |
Copy | <STRG>+<C> Copy selected text parts of the formulas. To copy a complete formula (i.e. the formula text together with the information on the variables and libraries), use the EDIT, COPY FORMULA command in the main menu of the formula editor. | |
Insert | <STRG>+<V> Paste previously cut or copied text parts of the formulas. | |
Insert and replace word | <SWITCH>+<STRG>+<ALT>+<V> Paste previously cut or copied text parts of the formulas. The selected text will be replaced. If there is no selection, this function overwrites the word in which the cursor is located. | |
Search | <STRG>+<F> Opens the "Search text" dialog box in which you can define your search. The "Search for" input field may be pre-assigned with the text of the current cursor position. | |
Continue searching | <F3> Searches for the next occurrence of the last text searched for. | |
Next occurrence | <SHIFT>+<ALT>+<RIGHT> | |
Previous occurrence | <SWITCH>+<OLD>+<LEFT> Moves the cursor to the previous occurrence of the word in which the cursor is located. | |
Replace | <STRG>+<R> Opens the "Replace text" dialog box in which you can define your replacement process. The "Search for" input field may be pre-assigned with the text of the current cursor position. To replace all occurrences of the text you are looking for, select the "Replace all" button. | |
Income/expenselive | <STRG>+<B> 1. Places curly brackets around a marked text passage. 2. Removes the curly brackets around the comment on which the cursor is located. | |
Enter/exit linentate | <STRG>+<D> 1. Places curly brackets around the line in which the cursor is currently located. 2. Removes the curly brackets around the line on which the cursor is located. | |
Duplicate rows | <SWITCH>+<STRG>+<ALT>+<D> Copies the entire line in which the cursor is located. If several lines are selected, they can also be duplicated together. | |
Insert string symbol | <STRG>+<ALT>+<R> Opens the "Display string for:" dialog box in which you can enter the name of the string symbol to be inserted. If necessary, read the section String symbols. | |
Insert closing bracket | <STRG>+<SWITCH>+<9> Inserts the closing bracket at the current position of the cursor. | |
Format formula | <STRG>+<ALT>+<F> Auto-formatting of the formula in the formula editor. If necessary, please also read the section Auto Formatter. | |
Formatting note Suppress indentation | <STRG>+<Q> To prevent deeply nested expressions from moving too far to the right during automatic formatting (auto-formatter), the indentation of the next line can be suppressed using this command. {...} is inserted at the end of the line. | |
Copy formula | <STRG>+<K> Copy a selected formula. | |
Insert formula | <STRG>+<P> Paste a formula from the clipboard. | |
Go to line | <STRG>+<G> After entering a line number in the dialog box that appears and confirming, the cursor in the formula editor jumps to the beginning of the corresponding line. |
