Create filters based on existing tables

If you have opened a tabular evaluation in the current workspace, you can select this directly as a filter template for a new filter. Proceed as follows:

  1. On the "Table" tab in the ribbon, select the command CREATE NEW FILTER BASED ON TABLE in the menu of the "General options" icon.
  2. The new filter is created in the Explorer in the "Automatically created filters" folder and the filter properties are opened.
  3. Enter a name for the filter at the top of the filter properties. The previously opened table is used as the filter template, which you can of course edit further.

In detail, the following information is transferred from the table template to the new filter:

  • Layout of the filter template
  • Input objects
For example, the owner whose asset overview you have selected as the basis for the new filter, or the securities folder whose open securities list you have selected as the basis.
  • Filter type
The new filter is created as a securities account filter if a securities account object (holder, account, securities account or portfolio) was activated in the object type list of the source table. In all other cases, it is created as a security filter.
