Dynamic headings allow you to enrich static text with information that changes from evaluation to evaluation. For example, you can prefix a tabular evaluation with the evaluation date or other parameters that are redefined for each evaluation (e.g. the currency).
A dynamic heading consists of placeholders for the parameters and any additional static text. The placeholders are only assigned concrete values at the time when the evaluation is calculated and displayed.
The following dialog box can be used to create and manage both static and dynamic text.
Carry out the following steps for each dynamically generated piece of information that is to be included in the heading:
Create a new placeholder by clicking on the "New text field" icon. The placeholders are displayed in the "Text fields" field. In the "Text scheme" field, they are displayed as consecutive numbers, enclosed by a leading and a trailing dollar sign (e.g. "$1$").
Select the placeholder that you want to edit and specify how it should be assigned. The three different assignment types are described in the following section Assignment of placeholders.
Carry out steps 1 and 2 for all placeholders.
Edit the text schema. For example, you can swap the order of the variables or add static text. Please note that the shape of the placeholder, i.e. a number surrounded by dollar signs, must not be changed.
Confirm your settings with "OK" or select "Cancel" to discard the settings and close the dialog box.
If a placeholder is to be deleted from the list, you must delete its representation in the text schema (e.g. $1$).
