File documents manually

Portfolio Service Document Archive" module

If you have the "Write documents" object right, reports and report folders can be transferred to the document archive as documents.

Proceed as follows, for example, to add the "Performance report with graphic" for a holder to the document archive:

  1. Open the workspace of an owner.
  2. In the workspace, switch to the "Reporting" worksheet and then to "Performance", "Performance report with graphic".
  3. To archive the displayed "Performance report with graph" as a document, press the key combination<CTRL>+<ALT>+<M>or select the ARCHIVE command on the "Report" tab.
The "Archive document" dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the name of the document in the "Name" input field. A designation consisting of the owner and template name is proposed. You can overwrite these.
  5. If necessary, select a type in the "Type" input field below. Tip: You can create new document types for your own reports in the "Template properties" dialog box.
  6. In the "Comment" field, you have the option of entering a comment text for the document.
  7. Confirm the entries with the "Archive" button.
The document is saved as a PDF file in the database.

The manual archiving of open report folders or pre-trade reports works in the same way; you will also find an ARCHIVE... command (<CTRL>+<ALT>+<M>.) on the "Report folder" tab that is then visible

How to automatically store customer reports and report folders in the document archive via batch export or scheduled reporting is explained in the section Storing documents via batch export or scheduled reporting .
