You have several options for closing chart windows. The methods described also apply to the other windows within the Infront Portfolio Manager (tables, etc.).

Click on the "Close" icon in the top right-hand corner of the chart window.

Press the <ESC> button.

Press the key combination <CTRL>+<F4>.

Select the FILE, EXIT command.
This closes the entire workspace (work area), not just the last chart template opened.
