Automatically fix valuation location assignments
You can also determine the valuation location assignment automatically and have the fixing carried out. For a better understanding, please read the chapter Manually fix valuation location assignmentsfirst.
The Infront Portfolio Manager uses the configuration of the rule-based assignment of valuation places (see Configuring valuation places) to determine the default and fixes all securities in the asset universe that have not yet been fixed to the resulting valuation place.
In the open worksheet "Valuation location assignments", switch to automatic fixing as follows:
- Select the "Settings" icon on the "Evaluation location assignment" tab in the ribbon.
The "Settings" dialog box appears. - Activate the "Automatically fix valuation places to the default value on a regular basis" checkbox.
Confirm the setting with "OK".
This checkbox is deactivated by default. Before you activate it, you should first set up the default assignment in the "Configure evaluation location" dialog box. You open the dialog window via the command EVALUATION POINTS on the "Configuration" tab.
The automatic check and allocation is carried out each time securities data is imported.
