Edit basic asset classes and asset classifications
You can customize basic asset classes and asset classifications as you wish. To do this, select the BASIC ASSET CLASSES command on the "Configuration" tab.
In the "Edit basic asset classes" dialog box that appears, create new basic asset classes, edit the existing ones and delete any that are no longer required.
Move the basic asset classes to adjust the order in your tables and reports. Read the section Changing the order of the basic asset classes.
Basic asset classes can be created independently or on the basis of an asset classification. You can also manage these asset classifications via the above-mentioned menu item in the "Edit basic asset classes" dialog box on the "Asset classifications" tab.
To manage the basic asset classes and asset classifications, you need the "Manage asset definitions" system right.
