In addition to the global configuration, you can also edit assigned restrictions directly from the properties dialogs of the portfolios, owners or groups. Proceed as follows for portfolios, for example:
Select the "Restrictions..." button in the portfolio properties. The "Assign restrictions" dialog box appears, in which you can see the restrictions assigned to the portfolio.
Select the restriction to be configured.
Select the "Edit selected restriction" icon. In the list of assigned restrictions, any obsolete restrictions are marked with this icon. You cannot edit these restrictions. If necessary, please also read the section Obsolete restrictions.
Configure the restriction in the "Restrictions" dialog box that appears. You can change the parameter assignment (and thus also the name) or select a new restriction scheme and thus select new parameters. Please note that changes to restrictions also affect any other portfolios and portfolio profiles that may have been assigned.
Confirm the changes with the "OK" button.
Then confirm the "Assign restrictions" dialog box with "OK".
Finally, close the "Portfolio properties" dialog box with "OK".
Proceed in the same way to edit restrictions for portfolio profiles, holders or groups .
The administrator can use the "Create, change and delete restrictions" system right to control access to the restriction definitions. If the right is deactivated for a user, the restrictions are only available for them to view. If necessary, read the chapter User administration.
