Exchange of securities (collective transactions)
Portfolio Service Collective Transactions" module
With the collective transaction type "Securities exchange", you have the option of exchanging one security for another in all securities accounts of the selected group(s). This does not result in any taxable profit and the allocation to the tranches is retained. This is practically an outward and inward delivery at the same time.
If you have selected the collective transaction type "Securities swap", you will see the following elements to the right of it in the "Configuration" area:

Final day | Date on which the exchange of securities is to take place. The default setting is the date calculated via the general securities account settings. |
Security out | Enter the security to be exchanged (delivered) here and then press the <RETURN> button. Or use the familiar object search via the "Search" icon (magnifying glass) to the right to search for the security in the database. |
Security pure | Enter the security to be deposited here and then press the <RETURN> button. Or use the familiar object search via the "Search" icon (magnifying glass) to the right to search for the security in the database. |
Course out | Enter the price at which the security to be replaced is to be delivered. The most recent close is shown after selecting the security. |
Delivery currency | Select the currency for the outbound delivery to be entered in the selection list. |
Course pure | Enter the price at which the new security is to be delivered. The most recent close is shown after selecting the security. |
Deposit currency | Select the currency for the posting to be entered from the selection list. |
Factor | Enter the resulting factor here. It is calculated by dividing the "nominal value in" by the "nominal value out". If the exchange is 1:1, the factor "1" is shown here. |
Remark | Space for notes on the exchange of securities. |
Calculate transactions | After entering your data, use this button to start the calculation of the outgoing and incoming deliveries to be recorded. |
