Assign document types to templates
You can then assign the document type from the document type configuration described above to a template in its properties so that the reports generated with this template can also be automatically uploaded for authorized persons.
This configuration then also applies to batch exports or jobs.
When archiving documents, you can also select document types to catalog your documents.
You can also create new document types directly in the Infront Portfolio Manager via a detour:
- Select the command FILE, TEMPLATE, EDIT PROPERTIES... in the main menu.
- In the "Edit template properties" dialog box that appears, select one of your private reports and click the "Edit" button.
In the "Template properties" dialog box that appears, you can not only select a type for the currently selected template in the "Document type" input field, but also add a new document type by entering a (new) name. - Close the "Template properties" dialog box with the "Save" button.
- Proceed in the same way for other new document types.
- Finally, close the "Edit template properties" dialog box with the "Close" button.
- The newly created document types are now available for selection in the "Type" field when archiving documents and when editing the properties of documents.
