Define the start time of the course

Using the time scale, you can not only define a specific time period with the Infront Portfolio Manager, but also store a "start and end date" for the price trend as an MM-Talk formula. This allows you to start the chart at a time of your choice.

This setting of the start or end time is saved in the template.

1. Double-click on the time scale to open the "Edit coordinate axes" dialog box.
2. On the "Time scale" tab, you will find an icon for entering the formula next to the start date. Click on the icon to open the formula editor.
   

   

3. Enter the formula for defining the start date. All functions on time series can be found in the MMTalk reference.
4. Exit the formula editor with SAVE and close the dialog box with "Apply".
