Summarize columns
You can display the contents of several columns combined in one table column, either side by side or one below the other. Proceed as follows:
- Select the column to be moved with the mouse and drag it to the center of the column to which it is to be connected.
- The position you are currently at is marked by a small green arrow. As soon as you release the mouse button, the columns are linked.
You can also use this function to move columns. To do this, do not move the selected column to the middle of a column, but to a dividing line between two columns. More on this in the section Changing the column order.
You can subsequently change the position of the content of the two columns in relation to each other (e.g. next to each other instead of on top of each other). To do this, click on the column heading and move the mouse while holding down the left mouse button. The position is indicated by a line in the column heading (above - below - left - right). As soon as you release the mouse button, the column is recreated.
To separate the columns again, press and hold the <ALT> key. The combined columns can now be selected separately again and you can separate them again using drag & drop.
This function is not available for fixed columns.
