Fixed columns are not moved when the table is moved to the left or right, but are always on the left edge of the table. They are therefore ideal for particularly wide tables that do not fit completely on the screen.
Fixed columns in tables can be recognized by a small black square in the bottom right-hand corner of the column heading.

In this screen example, the "Portfolio" and "Investment" columns are fixed, but the "WKN" column is not.
To undo the fixation, select the COLUMN FIXED command again or click on the "Fix column" icon in the toolbar of the table window.
