Assign price quote of another security

You have the option of assigning price quotations from one security to another. This function should be used with caution for obvious reasons. Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the EDIT WORKING PAPER command on the "Data maintenance" tab.
  2. Search for the security to which you want to add the price quote. Enter the search term - e.g. the WKN - in the object search that appears and start the search with the <RETURN> button.
  3. Select the desired security in the search result by double-clicking on it.
The "Master data" dialog box for the security opens.
  4. On the "Key data" tab, select the "Assign price quote of another security to this security" icon.
  5. Search for the desired quote. Enter the search term in the object search that appears, e.g. the WKN, and start the search with the <RETURN> button.
  6. Double-click on the desired price quote in the search result.
The list of price quotes is updated.
  7. Finally, confirm the "Master data" dialog box with "Save".

Read the section Configuring valuation placesto find out how to set this price quote as the default valuation place for the security.
