Account transfer
The transaction type "Account transfer" is used for transfers between two accounts of one holder.
To enter account transfers, proceed as follows:
- Open the "Enter transactions" worksheet as described above in the section Enter transactions and select the desired holder if necessary.
- Open the ACCOUNT menu in the "Enter transactions" worksheet.
- Select the transaction type ACCOUNT TRANSFER in the Account transaction types .
Use the keyboard to enter account transfers when the "Enter transactions" worksheet is open as follows: Press the key combination <CTRL>+<2> for the account transaction types. Then press the button<T>.
The "Account transfer" dialog box appears. Complete or change the information in the fields if necessary. The details of these fields can be found in the following table.'

From account
Select the account from which the transfer is to be made from the list of all the holder's existing accounts.
By account
From the list of all the holder's existing accounts, select the account to which the transfer is to be credited.
Date
Enter the date of the rebooking. The default setting is the current date.
You can change the date, e.g. to make retroactive bookings.
Value date
Enter the value date of the transfer. The default setting is the current date.
Amount
Enter the amount to be transferred between the two accounts here.
Enter the amount in the currency of the original account here!
Exchange rate
The current exchange rate is displayed here if postings are to be made between accounts that are managed in different currencies. You can correct this manually. If necessary, reverse the calculation of the exchange rate using the selection list to the right.
By amount
Enter or check the amount in the currency of the target account here.
Remarks
Here you can enter additional information about the booking (max. 50 characters).
- Complete the account transfer with the "Enter" button.
Postings between accounts of different holders must be made via cash deposits and cash withdrawals.
