Informative reimbursements

According to MiFID II, kickbacks received must be passed on to the end customer. Kickback is the reimbursement by one party to another of part of the amount paid for a transaction between several parties.

The first version of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), which was valid from November 2007 to the end of 2017, already required the disclosure of kickbacks. Therefore, when recording transactions, you will find the transaction types of the category "Informative rebates" - trailer fee (informative) and rebate (informative) - which are obsolete under MiFID II.

You can manage informative reimbursements recorded in this way in the Infront Portfolio Manager using the "Kickbacks" report.
