Icons in the Explorer toolbar

You can quickly start important functions using the icons in the Explorer toolbar. If the functions are not available for the object currently selected in the Explorer, the corresponding icon is deactivated.

These icons can be found in the Explorer toolbar:

IconDescription

Explorer view

If the icon is colored as shown in the example image, the view is active.

Another mouse click on the currently active icon of the three different views - Explorer, File and Alert view - takes you directly back to the previous view.

File view

If necessary, also read the section Shelves.

Alert view

If necessary, please also read the section Alert view in Explorer.

Create new object

Depending on the object currently selected in the Explorer, you can quickly create new objects under the selected object using the menu for this icon. For example, you can create the following objects in the selected folder:

  • Folder
  • Filter
  • Signal control
  • Limit folder
  • Trend analysis
  • Formula filter
  • Trend line monitoring
  • Signaling system
  • Trading system
  • Group
  • Owner
  • Interested party
  • Securities

However, it is not possible to create a portfolio or a securities account directly under a folder.

If you have currently selected a portfolio, you can use this menu to create a new securities account or a new account, etc.

Add object

Depending on the object currently selected in the Explorer, you can use this icon to add suitable objects to the selected object.

For folders, for example, you can search for, select and add the objects listed in the table above under "Create new object" using the object search that appears.

For custody accounts, on the other hand, only the addition of securities makes sense, so the "Purchase" dialog box opens directly to add a security (by purchase, deposit, etc.).
