Change formula filter
Module "Advanced Technical Analysis"
To change the formula filter or the formula, double-click on the formula filter to open its workspace.
You access the editor with the properties of the formula filter and from there, if necessary, the formula editor via the "Formula" button.

Functions in the editor:
Element | Description |
---|---|
Formula | Click on this button to open the formula editor to define your formula. First define the formula (the use of the formula filter and MM-Talk is described in detail at MM-Talk reference ). |
Parameters | You can also define parameters (variables) in your formulas. You assign specific values to these variables using the "Parameter" button. For example, it is possible to define a formula and evaluate it with different variables. |
Message at | Activate this checkbox if you want the table of signals to be displayed immediately after the signals have been evaluated. The checkbox is activated by default. |
Apply to | If you activate options or warrants here, the formula is not evaluated on the input securities of the folder, but on the options or warrants assigned to them. For example, if you define an input list with the values "BASF"; "Lufthansa NA" and "SAP" and activate "Apply to" "Options" and "Warrants", the options and warrants of these values are evaluated, for example for a delta greater than 0.5. |
Start/stop evaluation | You can also start and stop the evaluation directly from this dialog box. Click on the "Start evaluation" button to evaluate the formula filter. The number of securities found and analyzed is displayed in the editor. Existing changes to the folder properties are also saved. |
