Migrate individual owners manually

After or in addition to the automatic migration using the Portfolio Migration Wizard and before the migration is completed, you can also treat individual holders separately. To do this, you need the object right "Edit master data of a custody account object" for this holder.

Proceed as follows:

  1. To do this, select the command MIGRATE PORTFOLIOS in the context menu of the owner in the Explorer.

    The "Migrate portfolios" dialog box appears.


    You will find the following elements in the dialog box:

    Column

    Description

    Name

    The name of the depot object.

    Type

    The original type of the depot object to be migrated or already migrated:

    • Holder
    • Portfolio
    • Depot

    Accounts and custody accounts

    The accounts and securities accounts of the custody account object.

    Migrated

    The "Migrated" column indicates whether the depot object has already been migrated. If the checkbox is activated, the object has already been migrated.

    Command in the context menu

    Description

    Migrate holder "XY" to portfolio

    This command is only available for non-migrated owners.

    Select this command to start the migration for the selected owner.

    Migrate securities account "XY" to portfolio

    This command is only available for non-migrated depots.

    Select this command to start the migration for the selected depot.

    Migrate portfolio "XY" to portfolio

    This command is only available for portfolios that have not been migrated.

    Select this command to start the migration for the selected portfolio.

    Remove portfolio migrated from holder "XY"

    Select this command to delete the portfolio created from the selected holder.

    The portfolio is removed and the checkbox in the "Migrated" column is deactivated. The migration can then be carried out again.

    Remove portfolio migrated from securities account "XY"

    Select this command to delete the portfolio created from the selected securities account.

    The portfolio is removed and the checkbox in the "Migrated" column is deactivated. The migration can then be carried out again.

    Remove portfolio migrated from portfolio "XY"

    Select this command to delete the portfolio created from the selected portfolio.

    The migrated portfolio is removed and the checkbox in the "Migrated" column is deactivated. The migration can then be carried out again.

    Remove all migrated data for this owner

    Select this command to delete all migrated portfolios of the current owner.

    The migrated data is completely removed and the checkboxes in the "Migrated" column are all deactivated. The migration can then be carried out again.

    "Add holder data to the new portfolio" checkbox

    If this checkbox is activated, the master data from the holder is added (if a securities account or portfolio has been selected).

    This applies to the fields listed at the end of the section Which master data will be migrated? that were not previously available in the securities account or portfolio.

    Select this button to close the "Migrate portfolios" dialog box.

  2. Select the depot objects to be migrated here.
  3. If you have selected a custody account or portfolio, activate the "Add custody account data with holder data" or "Add portfolio data with holder data" checkbox to add the data from the holder to the custody account and portfolio data. This applies to the fields listed at the end of the section Which master data will be migrated? that were not previously available in the securities account or portfolio.
  4. Then start the individual migration using the corresponding command in the context menu.
    The new portfolios are immediately added to the Explorer.
  5. After completing the individual migration, close the "Migrate portfolios" dialog box.
