Edit background

Your Infront Portfolio Manager offers you various options for designing the background of the chart. Try out different colors or background images.

When printing, you can hide the background by selecting the corresponding checkbox in the "Print chart" dialog box.

  1. To change the background of the chart window, select the BACKGROUND command in the menu of the "Edit chart elements" icon on the "Chart" tab. The "Edit background" dialog box appears.
Optionally, you can also call up the BACKGROUND command in the context menu of the chart window.
  2. Change the settings by clicking on the fields or checkboxes.
An example chart is displayed on the right-hand side of the dialog window, where you can directly see the result of your changes.
  3. Save all changes using the "Apply" button. To close the dialog window without saving any changes, select the "Cancel" button.

Description

Color gradient

If the "Visible" checkbox is activated, you can add a special color gradient to the chart. Select the gradient and the desired colors and confirm your choice.

Visible

If this checkbox is activated, the chart is displayed with the selected color gradient.

If the checkbox is deactivated, the settings for the single-color background are used.

Single color background

If the "Visible" checkbox is deactivated, you can give the border of the chart and the background of the chart a special color. Select the "Border" or "Color" button. Then select the desired color in the dialog box.

Background image

You can also define a graphic (bitmap) as the background image. Click on "Search" to select the desired graphic.

You can center, expand or cascade graphics. You can also specify whether the graphic should only be inside the diagrams, in which case the legend is displayed in the normal background type (checkbox "Inside only").

Representation

If the "Three-dimensional" checkbox is activated, you can give the left and bottom edges of the chart a special color.

Select the "Left border" or "Bottom border" button and then select the desired colors in the dialog box.
