Print layout
You can edit various basic settings. You can switch to the "General", "Table frame" or "Table layout" tabs with a mouse click.
In the "Standard settings for tables" and "Settings for the current table" options, first click to specify whether the new settings should only apply to the current table or to all tables. The saved settings are then still available after restarting the Infront Portfolio Manager.
Then make the desired settings on the tabs. Information on the "General" tab can be found in the section Print.
Table frame" tab
The following settings are possible on this tab:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Print one table frame per page | This option is only interesting for very extensive tables over several pages. By default, the space on a page to be printed is used optimally. The individual parts (frames) of a table may be printed on one page next to each other (for very long tables) or one below the other (for very wide tables). Activate this checkbox if the individual parts (frames) of the table should not be printed next to each other/underneath each other. |
Print column headings | Activate this checkbox if the column headings should also be printed. If this checkbox is selected, you can use the options on the right to decide whether or not they should be repeated on each new page. |
Repeat on each page | Activate this option if you want the column headings to be repeated on each new page. |
Do not repeat | Activate this option if the column headings should only be printed on the first page. |
Distances in millimeters vertical/horizontal | These settings are only relevant for very extensive tables over several pages. By default, the space on a page to be printed (especially in landscape format) is used optimally. The individual parts (frames) of a table may be printed on one page next to each other (for very long tables) or one below the other (for very wide tables). You can use this field to modify the distances between the individual parts (frames). |
Table layout" tab
The following settings are possible on this tab:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Print table cells in color | Activate this checkbox if you want a color printout. |
Prevent page breaks in | This option is particularly relevant for aggregated tables. If this checkbox is activated, no wrap is made within a related block when the table is printed (as far as possible). However, as this can sometimes be necessary, deactivate this checkbox to allow breaks even within a block that belongs together. |
Title font.. | You can use this button to edit the font and font color of the table heading. The current settings are displayed to the right of the button. |
Lines | Here you specify which border lines of a cell are to be drawn when printing ("All" or individual). You can specify the line width (in pixels) in the "Width" field. The print preview, which you can access via the "Preview" button at the bottom of the "Print" dialog box, makes it easier to select the optimum line width. |
Confirm your settings with "OK" or select "Cancel" to discard the changes and close the dialog box.
