Upload dashboard templates to the customer account via a "Customer Account Update" job

Dashboard templates for the customer account are uploaded via the job control in the Infront Portfolio Manager. The "Customer Account Update" job type is available for this purpose.

For jobs of the type "Customer Account Update", you can select the individual dashboard templates and the desired depot objects for which an upload is to take place. You can view and configure the parameters of the tables using the "Parameters" button.

Proceed as follows to configure your "Customer Account Update" job:

  1. On the "Reporting" tab in the ribbon, select the CONFIGURE JOBS command in the "Jobs" icon menu.

    The "Configure jobs" worksheet opens.

  2. Select the "Create new job" icon at the top right of the worksheet.
  3. Enter a name for the job on the "Settings" tab, select the desired zone and select "Customer Account Update" as the type.
  4. If necessary, create a schedule for the execution of the job.
  5. Switch to the "Other settings" tab to configure the job.
  6. Select the dashboard templates to be uploaded at the top left of the "Other settings" tab. To do this, activate the corresponding checkboxes.

Use the SELECT ALL command in the context menu to quickly activate all checkboxes. The UNCANCEL SELECTION command deactivates all checkboxes in the list.

In this list, you will see abbreviated names of the standard templates for reasons of space, e.g. the entry "Cash flow forecast" for the report "Customer account - cash flow forecast" etc.

  7. If you have selected at least one template, you can activate the categories of the desired depot objects underneath.
  8. In the "Explorer objects" area, use drag & drop from the Explorer or the integrated search to define the Explorer objects for the upload.
  9. Select the "Parameters" button to view or edit the parameters of the selected tables. For details, read the section Parameters of a job of type "Customer Account Update".
  10. Finally, save the settings with the command FILE, SAVE or<CTRL>+<S>.
The configuration is complete. In the section Start job you will find all the information on the various options for starting a job.
