Windows Registry
Essentially, entries are made in two places in the Windows registry. All entries in the Windows registry are necessary to ensure smooth operation or updates of the system and must not be changed or deleted.
- <HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall>for the usual information about the product
- <HKLM\Software\MARKET MAKER\VWDPM6\MM>as a reference to the installed application
- Further entries are made in connection with the registration of components such as Crystal Reports™.
