Securities-related constructs
The following applies to other securities-related constructs:
Construct | Description |
---|---|
Limits | Limits can be entered on both security objects and price quotation objects. Limits on securities objects are valued at the corresponding valuation place, price quotation limits at the price quotation itself. The "Currency" field on Limits defines and fixes the valuation currency, in particular for the limits on security objects. Target and stop values are interpreted in this currency, loss values are determined on the prices in limit currency. |
Comparative value, base value, | The comparative value of a security can be stored both as a price quotation object and as a security object. Market Data Pool always provides price quotation objects, in particular as underlyings for derivatives. In filters, the "Search derivatives/comparable values" mode is used to search for linked securities across all price quotations of the security object and the security object. |
Transactions, Order book orders | Security objects are always required for transactions and orders. Use storage locations to differentiate stock. The valuation of securities positions is always based on one and the same valuation price quotation. |
