Preliminary remarks on migration
The migration data is up to date at the time of the database transfer from your previous installation. The portfolios that are created during migration are therefore at this level.
It is therefore strongly recommended that the portfolio migration is carried out promptly after the database transfer. You should refrain from changing or creating new custody account objects (holders, custody accounts, accounts and portfolios) before the migration is carried out.
An assistant is available for the migration. If you have the "Data migration" system right, you can use this wizard to migrate all securities account objects. This also applies to owners that you cannot normally see.
The migration can be readjusted for the individual holders for fine-tuning and, if necessary, checking in the event of conflicts. This can be carried out by users with the object right "Edit master data of a custody account object".
When you are finished with the migration, it should be completed. This prevents accidental changes to the data. If necessary, the migration can be carried out again.
When a migration is carried out again, the portfolios created during the previous migration are deleted. All data from these portfolios (including data entered at a later date) will be lost.
Manually created portfolios are not affected by this. However, custody accounts and accounts may be allocated to other portfolios.
