Resubmit transactions

To resubmit or change transactions, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the workspace of the holder or the securities account and switch to the "Transactions", "Entry" worksheet.
  2. In the transaction list, select the line with the transaction to be changed.

You now have several options for resubmitting the selected transaction:

    • Double-click on the line with the transaction.
    • In the context menu of the selected line, select the command RESTORE. This command is only available if a single transaction is selected.
    • Or select the "Resubmit" icon.

The "Resubmission" dialog box appears in all cases. The dialog boxes for resubmission are the same as those used for entering transactions.

  3. Enter the desired changes here and confirm with the "Change" button.
  4. Answer the security prompt that appears with "Yes".

    The transaction is changed accordingly.

If you want to end the action without changing the transaction, close the dialog box with "Cancel" or answer the final query with "No".

To avoid unwanted side effects, the Infront Portfolio Manager does not recalculate the other editable fields after a field has been changed on resubmission. For example, the price of a security is not reloaded if the date is changed. Similarly, the commission scheme is not applied again in the event of a resubmission.

Automatic bookings cannot be resubmitted. This includes the following bookings:

  • Liquidate fixed-term deposit
  • Fixed deposit interest
  • Foreign exchange transactions Inflow
  • Foreign exchange transaction Outflow (if automatically resulting from forward exchange transaction)

Instead, when you try to resubmit these postings, the program offers to resubmit the corresponding original transaction.

The alternatives described here for resubmitting transactions ("Resubmit" icon, context menu and double-click on the transaction) are also available in the open "Transaction list" report. You can also resubmit transactions via the context menus of other reports, such as the income statement.
