Structure of the input list

Module "Advanced Technical Analysis"

The trading system requires an input list, i.e. a list of securities. These securities are then analyzed using the trading system. Securities that match the condition of the trading system are included in the signal list of the trading system.

You can display the input list by clicking on the small "+" in front of the trading system name. A further level of the Explorer then opens, labeled Input. The input is basically a normal folder into which you can insert manually created folders, individual securities or filters.

You can record individual securities, for example, by clicking on the entry with the mouse and then pressing the <INSERT> key. You can add folders by dragging and dropping them into the input field.

The evaluation of trading systems can take quite a long time. It therefore makes sense to keep the input lists as small as possible - and thus avoid unnecessary calculations. Therefore, make sure that the input list really matches the trading system. For example, it makes no sense to carry out optimizations on warrants or options, as these values are only influenced by the performance of their underlying assets.
