Enter string symbols

In addition to manual entry, you have other options for entering string symbols. Proceed as follows:

1. Select a text in the formula editor.
2. Select the EDIT, INSERT STRING SYMBOL command in the main menu of the formula editor.
   Or press the key combination<CTRL>+<ALT>+<R>.
   In both cases, the "String symbol" dialog box opens.
3. If necessary, overwrite the default name of the string symbol in the "Name" input field and confirm the entry with the "OK" button.
4. The introduced string symbol is preceded by a colon and is added to the list of string symbols on the right-hand side of the formula editor.
