Configure standard formula for holding period
You have the option of defining the holding period of your investments using MM-Talk formulas in order to fully comply with MiFID II requirements in this area as well.
To do this, proceed as follows:
- Select the CONFIGURE STANDARD FORMULA FOR HOLDING PERIOD command in the menu of the "Ordering" icon on the "Configuration" tab in the ribbon of the Infront Portfolio Manager.
- Enter the desired formula in the formula editor that appears and save it.
The holding period configured in this way is taken into account when determining the ex ante costs via the cost service.
The simplest possible formula is to enter a number for the holding period in days, e.g. "365" for one year. However, the standard formula can of course also define case distinctions.
Both in portfolio rebalancing and in the order book, you have the option of manually changing the values preset by the standard formula for individual positions or orders. In the position overview of the portfolio rebalancing, simply overwrite the value in the "Holding period [days]" column; in the order book you will find a corresponding command in the context menu of the orders.
