Proceed as follows to configure your Scheduled Reporting profiles for Scheduled Reporting:
On the "Reporting" tab in the ribbon, select the CONFIGURE SCHEDULED-REPORTING-PROFILE command in the menu of the "Scheduled Reporting" icon.
In the "Configure scheduled reporting profiles" dialog box that appears, select the "Create new reporting profile" icon to create a new scheduled reporting profile. It appears on the left-hand side of the dialog box.
Enter a name for the reporting profile in the "Name" input field.
Click on the "Add report" icon to open the familiar "Open template" dialog box, in which you can select reports and report folders by double-clicking. These appear on the left-hand side under the currently selected reporting profile. Repeat the process for all other reports and report folders that you would like to add to the reporting profile. You can quickly delete selected entries in the list - both reporting profiles and evaluations (reports and report folders) - using the "Delete reporting profile or report" icon. If you have selected a report or report folder, you can replace it with any other report (or report folder) using the "Select template..." button.
Set a reporting frequency for each evaluation on the right-hand side. To do this, select an interval from the selection list. The intervals available are "daily", "weekly", "monthly", "quarterly", "semi-annually" and "annually". You can also transfer the reporting frequency from the owner or portfolio properties by activating the checkbox.
Click on the "Export options..." button to open the dialog box for setting the export options. Specify whether the reports are to be printed or where and in which format they are to be saved. The default setting is storage as a PDF file. If you would like to print the report folder, activate the "To a printer" checkbox. For reports, you can adopt the settings from the individual reports here by selecting the "Preset from report" entry in the selection list of available printers. If you have licensed the "Portfolio service document archive" module, you can also save the generated reports in the document archive. To do this, activate the "To document archive" checkbox in the export options.
Select the reporting language for Scheduled Reporting in the "Language" selection list. The priorities explained in the section Select languages for reporting apply. For example, the reporting languages of the individual reports configured in a report folder are also taken into account in Scheduled Reporting.
Similarly, create all other reporting profiles that you require.
Finish and save the configuration with "OK". You can now assign owners to Scheduled Reporting profiles.
