Open and edit report designs in the Report Designer

Report Designer" module

As a rule, report designs are opened directly from the design view of the Infront Portfolio Manager for editing in the Report Designer. If necessary, read the section Edit draft report.

To manually load report designs exported from the Infront Portfolio Manager in the Report Designer, proceed as follows:

1. Select the FILE, OPEN... command in the main menu of the Report Designer.
2. In the "Open" dialog box that appears, change to the directory with the saved report design (file of type *.rpt) and select it, e.g. by double-clicking.
   The report design is loaded into the Report Designer and can now be edited.
   

   

3. After customization, select the command FILE, SAVE (<CTRL>+<S>) or the command FILE, SAVE AS... to save the edited draft report.

This draft report can now be imported back into the Infront Portfolio Manager. If necessary, please also read the section Import draft report.
